Our Story
Andrew Lau
Founder and Lead Compounding Pharmacist, Andrew Lau, has dedicated his career to innovating personalised formulations that help patients access the medications and supplements they need in the most effective form. A pharmacist since 1984, Andrew quickly recognised that standard medicines don’t always suit every patient, inspiring his lifelong passion for developing customised, high-quality solutions. Early in his career, this passion led him to formulate P7, a pioneering multi-ingredient supplement designed to support hair health by combining targeted medications and nutrients.
In 2001, Andrew and his wife, Nancy Yeung, founded PharmacySmart Compounding in Doncaster, grounded in a commitment to using only premium ingredients and a robust triple-checking system to ensure every formulation meets the highest standards of safety and accuracy. Today, Andrew’s trusted and innovative formulations—including P7—are prescribed by leading dermatologists and clinicians across Australia, helping patients achieve better health outcomes through personalised care.
Nancy Yeung
Nancy Yeung, Co-Founder and Business Manager of PharmacySmart Compounding, has been instrumental in shaping the business since 2001. With over two decades of experience in pharmacy operations, laboratory science, and sterile compounding, she has helped establish PharmacySmart’s reputation for precision, safety, and quality. Nancy also leads staff training and process improvement initiatives that uphold the team’s rigorous triple-checking standards, and she remains passionate about integrating complementary medicine to support patient wellbeing.
Together, Andrew and Nancy now operate three PharmacySmart Compounding locations, providing high-quality, personalised medications to patients across Australia. Their services extend online, allowing patients and healthcare practitioners to conveniently order compounded medications from anywhere in Victoria. Committed to precision, safety, and exceptional care, they continue to innovate formulations, ensuring every patient receives the right medication in the most effective form.

Their deep compassion drives them to go above and beyond, working closely with their clients to create personalised medication solutions that support better health outcomes for every member of the family—whether they walk on two legs or four.
